Oh no, am I going to be one of the only conservatives? :[

I think there should be nothing wrong with it. I've noticed that Christian symbols are the only things attacked. It's people's opinions, and everyone has one. I could say, "I hate the colour pink." and get a bunch of people together to petition the government saying pink was against my ideas as a person. Where would we be when anything could be attacked based on some people's opinions?

Just a thought. :]

the difference between christianity and pink is that pink is a color and christianity is a religion.

i don't feel particularly threatened by "one nation under god" thing. i'm against the pledge of allegiance anyway.

the trouble is, however, that children can be taught that they are supposed to believe in god. children should be taught to decide their beliefs for themselves, instead of accepting the things they are fed.

i'm not against religion, but rather brainwashing and closed-mindedness.

Children are taught that they're supposed to believe in God. I think most still decide that they don't want to in spite of that.
